My daily routine underwent a significant change as a result of incorporating morning sauna sessions. After a year of winding down with evening sauna sessions, a friend suggested a refreshing change: incorporating a sauna session into my morning routine post-workout. As a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom who helps run two small businesses, my mornings are incredibly busy. However, I decided to rearrange my priorities and dedicate two weeks to morning sauna sessions. It was an instant game-changer.
Here’s what I discovered.
The sauna serves as an effective bridge from sleep to mindfulness, enhancing my concentration and boosting my daily productivity. After a vigorous workout, the heat helps alleviate stiffness and soothe sore muscles. In my opinion the sauna provides a peaceful environment where I can pray, contemplate and get ready for the upcoming day.
Saunas have been utilized for a long time for their positive impact on health and only recently have studies started to reveal their full potential. Saunas offer various advantages that make them a valuable addition to a healthy routine. Research indicates that spending 20 minutes in a sauna can offer similar benefits to a short walk making it a good alternative for individuals with mobility issues. Why not give it a shot? Your body will appreciate it.
