Why Saunas
I really wanted a wood powered hot tub, but after doing the research I found it daunting to keep the water clean and healthy with all the chemicals required, not to mention pump upkeep and filter replacements. Digging into the sauna world, it really blew my mind the amount of benefits I could receive by simply sweating in a sauna for 20 min 5 times a week. After building our own home which was a dream come true and after building my neighbor a 14x20 tiny home I’ve decided to build saunas and share them with you. Building unique saunas that look awesome and are fun to hang out in is where the journey begins….. .

Dr. Huberman (Associate professor of neurobiology and ophthalmology at the Stanford University School of Medicine)
“Heat exposure has been shown to improve cardiovascular function and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Regular heat exposure improves blood flow, reduces inflammation, and lowers blood pressure. Huberman recommends 3-4 sauna sessions per week for cardiovascular benefits.”
Dr. Susanna Søberg is an international leading scientist and expert in cold and heat therapy for health and performance.
Dr. Susanna Søberg has dedicated her career to the convergence of science and health. Through her comprehensive research, she identified the optimal timing of cold and heat exposure that bestows health benefits—manifesting in the now widely adopted guidelines of 11 minutes of cold and 57 minutes of heat per week!
